Raymond Clarke, former Chief Executive of SITO and founder and Director of SAFE Ltd, has been engaged through his consultancy company Vocational Compass Ltd to advise and assist Edexcel develop its interests in the international security industry. Clarke, who was honouree educational adviser to the Asian Professional Security Association until 2002 and a leading figure in the export of UK
edexcel
vocational education, will work for Edexcel for two days each month on the initiative.
‘Having worked closely with Edexcel in the UK since 2003, I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to work alongside the highly professional International team at Edexcel’ said Clarke. ‘The cache offered by the UK’s leading qualification brand is a considerable draw for international employers, employees and students and could provide considerable benefits to the security industry across the world. I will be focusing on identifying new international opportunities and supporting UK educational providers to deliver security programmes awarded by Edexcel in a variety of international markets.’
