Agenda has always had a learning and development culture, accredited to Investors in People it recognises the importance of Continual Professional Development and underlines this by providing a Training Bank Account each year to facilitate vocational and non-vocational training to each and every one of its employees. As an example of this commitment we are delighted to announce that Andy and Katrina from our pre-employment screening, vetting and background checking team have successfully completed the 40 hour Agenda Group Management Development Programme. This was delivered by an external management consultant in 4 hour modules specifically designed to meet the development needs of the managers and importantly of Agenda as the division grows. Andy and Katrina successfully completed the assessed programme and have been awarded the Certificate of Achievement by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Norman Mortell (Director of the Screening Division) presented the certificates and said “I was delighted to present the awards to Andy and Katrina in recognition of all of the hard work that they have put in to the course, importantly for me they were also able to show how they had put the theory learned into practice and are already using their newly found skills to develop competency based training programmes for all staff and client focused reporting systems. These tangible examples show the importance of the continual development of our team, this is but one part of our overall training and development strategy which is derived to individual, team and divisional appraisal objectives – linking directly the skills of the individuals with the aspirations and goals of the organisation. As a people and customer focused service provider moments like this make me feel extremely proud, well done to Andy and Katrina”.
