Agenda was a proud sponsor of the recent Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) conference which was held in Bristol. The event was spread over 3 days and attracted over 80 delegates from around the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. There was a busy trade exhibition with over 30 trade stands displaying many new and innovative security related products and services, Agenda were present showcasing the latest pre-employment screening and extremist monitoring services.
Meeting friends old and new in and around the trade stands and at the lively evening networking events was, as ever, a real pleasure. The programme of presentations were topical, informative and varied – aimed at best practice security practices and the sharing of information. A warm thanks goes to the organisers of the event for all of their efforts to make the conference such a success for both the delegates and the trade participants.
A special mention goes to the superb gala dinner which was held in the wonderful surroundings of the SS Great Britain, a venue that was totally unique and will not be easily forgotten. Agenda wishes AUCSO every success in the coming year and we are already looking forward to the 2012 AUCSO conference.
