Agenda has held the ISO9001 Quality Management Certification since 1999 and was re-audited by ISOQAR on 16th November 2009 to ISO9001: 2008 including BS7858 Security Screening and BS8470 Destruction of Confidential Materials requirements. The auditor was particularly impressed with the Key Result Indicator review and reporting process in the security division and the introduction of quality management and customer care training programmes throughout 2009. Other new initiatives such as customer satisfaction surveys conducted independently by the business development team and the monthly staff recognition process were welcomed.
The recognition programme encouraged staff to nominate their peers for excellent working in contributing to Agenda ‘s quality values and Agenda is pleased to announce that the overall winner for 2009 was Sue M, a member of the security team who delivered excellent customer care throughout the year. The audit also looked at standard operating procedures, quality improvement processes and the application of the principles of ISO9001: 2008. Agenda’s news section on the security web site and Security Now e-newsletter also drew praise from the auditor in showing that Agenda is keeping up-to-date with current issues and keeping clients informed.
Managing Director, Paul Sanders said “Our ISO9001 quality management certification has never been about having the plaque on the wall, it is a state of mind, as a people business we understand that superior customer care and continual quality improvements are the keys to being a successful business. The Agenda values are the embodiment of what we are and I am proud of the way our staff listen to our customers, respond professionally, positively and quickly and work extremely hard to provide a first class service at all times – this award is as much about our staff as it is about meeting the requirements of the new ISO9001 standard.”
